Digital Music Downloads This piece by Rob Walker at Slate points out (1) the relatively small number of downloads it takes for a song to be Number One on the Billboard-reported SoundScan charts of digital music downloads. About 1500 downloads, in fact. He also points out (2) how easy that should make manipulating the charts along the lines of a Google bomb. Re (1): With a bullet? A bullet?
