Rights Deferred The Metro Council of Nashville and Davidson County (Tennessee) has delayed its third and final consideration of an ordinance that would add gay and disabled people as folks not to be discriminated against in matters of employment and housing. My read of the Tennessean article (article here) left me unclear as to whether this was a move that will increase likelihood of the bill's final passage or whether it means that whatever gets passed will be so watered down as to be meaningless. |
