Curriculum Vitae Josh Marshall is having the occassional pissy moment (here) about the contents of Bill Frist's CV. That's CV as in curriculum vitae, a study of life. Marshall is confusing a good, complete CV, like Frist's (here), with a resume. An honest-to-God CV really ought to be full of nonsense like high-school awards, summer jobs, and the like. Politics aside, my own feeling is that it's a good thing to have someone who's still publishing research papers leading the (currently) majority party in the Senate. |
