McCain-Kerrey

That's Bob Kerrey of Nebraska, not John Kerry (blech, gag, spit) of Massachusetts. The Bull Moose seems to think it'd make a good ticket. Now, if only the Moose could decide for which Party.

The Moose also has a nice paragraph describing post-9/11 Washington business as usual:

Both parties are proceeding with their banal, petty agendas. Republicans must comfort the rich and the Democrats must appease their array of interest groups. The Congressional agenda is filled with such lofty items as permanently eliminating the inheritance tax and an orgy of pork spending.

But then, the Moose is always a good read, even when he's wrong.
